TECHNIQUE |
|
The Alexander Technique is a simple and practical method for improving ease and
freedom of movement, balance, support, flexibility, and coordination. The
Technique gives one the tools to identify and change poor postural habits
that can cause stress, fatigue, and pain. Lessons begin with freeing the
neck to balance the head. This allows the body's anti-gravity reflexes to
work without interference. The result is a sense of lightness, connection,
and ease. Students can then enjoy increased efficiency in daily activities
like desk work or carrying bags, and in special skills like playing a sport
or a musical instrument.
