Karen Gabler is the founder and primary teacher of Gabler Sustainable Body. Gabler Sustainable Body is the culmination of 30 years of experience as a professional bodyworker, continuous and advanced study of bodywork methodology, and a lifelong yoga practice. Karen offers workshops and professional trainings, and regularly shares her method and insight with professionals in a variety of bodywork and medical fields – from students in professional massage therapy programs to physicians in hospital settings. Karen also has a private practice here at Cambridge Health Associates where she treats individuals and offers introductory Gabler Sustainable Body workshops.
Beate is a certified Kripalu yoga teacher and a Creative Kids yoga teacher. Beate holds a Masters in Education from Lesley University and teaches yoga classes for adults and children in Boston, Cambridge and Somerville, MA. Katie Keane is a certified Energy Arts Instructor through Taoist lineage Master Bruce Frantzis. Katie has studied Taoist arts with Mr. Frantzis and his instructors at Brookline Tai Chi since 2003. Katie has practiced bodywork in the Boston area since 1997. She is a certified Zero Balancing practitioner and a licensed massage therapist.
Barbara Lyon teaches Kripalu style yoga here at CHA and other studios in the Boston area. She has been a teaching yoga for almost 20 years, and studying it for almost 30. Barbara continually presents yoga in fresh and inspiring ways, and encourages all her students to become life-long yoga practitioners. A passionate student, Barbara is always applying new wisdom to her practice and evolving as a teacher. Most recently, Barbara completed advanced teacher training with reknowned teacher Barbara Benagh, studied Structural Integration with Eli Thompson and became certified in Silver Age Yoga. In addition to her regular classes, Barbara also offers private and semi-private sessions and Gentle Joint Yoga. Jim McCormick, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac. began his Zero Balancing training in 1974 with ZB founder, Dr. Fritz Smith and became the first Zero Balancing teacher after Dr. Smith himself in 1979. He teaches both Zero Balancing and Acupuncture and is currently on the faculty at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City, and the Institute of Taoist Education in Louisville, Colorado. Jim also leads Zero Balancing workshops and advanced teacher trainings here at Cambridge Health Associates, throughout the US and abroad.

Judy Silvan is a licensed psychotherapist with an attachment-based AEDP focus (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) as well expertise in Mindfulness and Bionergetics (body-based) Psychotherapy. She holds a Masters Degree in clinical social work from Smith College. Judy has led workshops and retreats for many years at CHA, including "Food and Body-Love", "Where Heart and Body Meet the Mind", "Softening into our Feelings" and weekly bioenergetic movement-class series. She brings a deep joy and presence to her workshops and classes, and generates a highly-attuned, synergetic classroom by listening closely to students and fully engaging in the movement series alongside them. In addition to leading groups and classes, Judy maintains a private psychotherapy practice in Cambridge, MA.
