Dr. Amanda Sims has been a psychiatrist in private practice for over 15 years. Amanda has extensive experience working with women’s mental health issues. Dr. Sims supports women struggling with anxiety, depression and eating disorders. She has helped her clients navigate emerging young adulthood, infertility, pregnancy and the postpartum period and menopause. Dr. Sims has a special interest in treating the psychiatric manifestations of chronic medical conditions, including Lyme disease.
Dr. Sims applies an integrative approach to treatment, combining different psychotherapy modalities and pharmacology with complementary techniques, including the use of herbs and supplements.
