Equipped with a deep understanding of human anatomy, Elizabeth helps clients move freely, think clearly and most importantly, to shift in ways that are sustainable. She has a special interest in leadership development and helping clients who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Elizabeth's process is highly individualized, creative and designed to effect deep and lasting change in chronic physical and emotional patterns. She has treated a range of conditions from TMJ dysfunction to anxiety and depression, migraines and headaches, as well as women's health issues, including pregnancy.  Her background includes:

  • Ergonomics
  • Craniosacral Therapy/Myofascial Release
  • Neuro-Muscular Re-Education
  • Aston Movement and Bodywork
  • Somatic Coaching

In addition to her private practice, Elizabeth teaches leadership embodiment classes and offers mindfulness-based leadership coaching in unversity, school and community outreach programs. She specializes in helping individuals, families, non-profits and businesses develop responsive leadership tools. She is also the former Dean of Faculty Development at the Touch Therapy Institute/Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Treatment Philosophy

"We have been given the gift of living in a body. It is through the body that we experience the world and ourselves. Our bodies offer us the possibility of self healing and self knowledge. As we awaken to our skills of intuition, feeling and sensing, we can let our bodies wisdom emerge and guide us. As our awareness increases we can make the choice to shift and change patterns that no longer serve us in our lives. We cannot change our habits through the mind alone. Our physical posture, breath and the way we carry ourselves energetically influences our thinking and the environment around us."

"As a former president of a local university, I started a body/mind program because of my work with Elizabeth. Our work made me understand the importance  of the connection between body and mind

"My neck pain has diminished and my awareness has helped to sustain the changes permanently.
