William Ventimiglia

I am an experienced, licensed clinician, and faculty member of the C.G. Jung Institute of Boston. I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, emotional and sexual trauma, and relationship issues. My approach is to listen carefully to your concerns, support areas of strength and resilience while discovering new inner resources and understandings that are often transformative. Patients and couples find me to be caring, non-judgmental, and pragmatic. I value the relief of suffering while working together to shift longer-term impediments to your quality of life and successful living.

Treatment Philosophy

My approach to psychotherapy and couples counseling varies according to need. With a doctorate in ministry, I am sesitive to the spiritual dimension of human experience. As a seasoned Jungian analyst, I use my knowledge of emotional trauma, dream interpretation, and the importance of empathic attunement to enhance the therapeutic experience. I enjoy working with students, artists, medical practitioners, psychologists, and many who simply desire a deeper self-understanding, self-acceptance, and connection to others.
