William Mueller, Lic.Ac., Dipl.Ac.
Healing for the Body, Mind, and Spirit.
Bill Mueller is a licensed and national board certified acupuncturist. He graduated from Yale University with a degree in Psychology and Philosophy, and then studied Five Element acupuncture with Prof. J.R. Worsley at the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in England. In practice since 1979, Bill has since earned the two advanced degrees which the College offers. A Fellow of the National Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Bill is the former Chairperson of the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Bill also is certified to practice Zero Balancing and he completed the Zero Balancing Teacher Training Program with Fritz Smith, M.D.
"My original training in Five Element acupuncture still forms the foundation of my practice because it is most effective in reaching the core of a person and bringing about healing on the deepest levels of the body, mind, and spirit. I also use the Balance Method, taught by Dr. Richard Tan, an elegant and effective style of acupuncture to treat pain and a variety of other conditions. I value the importance of communication and rapport with my patients, and by listening, I tailor each treatment to the needs of the individual."
"I have a general practice, and people come to see me for a variety of issues, including asthma, depression, exhaustion, body pain, insomnia, anxiety, menstrual problems and infertility, headaches, digestive troubles, side effects from chemotherapy and radiation, and chronic illness. Others come for treatment to maintain good health, or to keep supported during times of intense challenge. And finally, some people come to see me not with any diagnosis or label of illness, but simply with a sense that something is not right."
