Shirley Lynch, LMT, NCTMB

Shirley Lynch, LMT, is a nationally certified massage therapist in practice since 1979. Shirley received a BA in sociology from Colgate University, traveled to India to study yoga and classical South Indian dance and music, and pursued her interest in the human body and movement through study at The Muscular Therapy Institute where she earned her certification in 1981 and was a member of the faculty for 25 years. Shirley earned advanced certifications in Zero Balancing® in 2000 and Aston-Patterning® in 2004.

Shirley's practice integrates massage, structural and energy bodywork, movement education and fitness training. Her approach attends to each person's unique patterns and goals, facilitating lasting changes in body awareness and use, and supporting her client's comfort, vitality and well being. Shirley is committed to helping people reshape their habitual responses for greater ease, heightened awareness, and improved performance in personal and work life, leisure, athletic and artistic pursuits.

In addition to her private practice, Shirley offers workshops and in-service training in movement education and ergonomics for any special interest or professional group, and is available for consultation to organizations, corporations and small businesses.
