Mary Elizabeth Wheeler
Mary Elizabeth Wheeler has guided clients in the Authentic VoiceWork process for over 25 years. Using the process of self-generated sound, Mary Elizabeth helps people access the embodied voice for self-expression, creativity, healing and transformation. An improvisational vocal performance artist, song leader and voice coach, she is the co-creator of the SpiritSong® Process and "Mystic Soul" album. Mary Elizabeth is also the founder and director of Indigo River, an organization dedicated to bringing the authentic voice to life. She teaches Authentic VoiceWork locally and nationally to individuals, couples and groups.
Mary Elizabeth has been an improvisational theater actor for over 15 years and is a dedicated member of True Story Theater, a non-profit Playback Theatre troupe based in Arlington, MA. Their mission is to promote social healing through the arts, by listening deeply to people’s stories and spontaneously transforming them into lively and inspiring theater.
