Jim McCormick

Jim McCormick is a licensed, board certified Five-Element Acupuncturist and Zero Balancer and the co-director of Cambridge Health Associates. One of the earliest Americans to study Five-Element Acupuncture with British Acupuncturist Dr. J.R. Worsley, Jim continues the unique Five-Element teaching lineage at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York City, and the Institute of Taoist Education in Louisville, Colorado.

Bill Mueller

Bill Mueller is a licensed and national board certified acupuncturist and co-director of Cambridge Health Associates. With Five Element acupuncture as the foundation of his practice, Bill is also a certified Zero Balancing practitioner, and he completed the Zero Balancing Teacher Training course with Fritz Smith, M.D.

Joelle Follette

Joelle Follette has been a Massage Therapist for over 20 years. She is also a Massage Therapy instructor and a dedicated life-long student.  Joelle has studied many styles and methods of bodywork including Thai Massage, Tui Na, Shiatsu, Reflexology, Zero Balancing and Tai Chi. Her resulting style is a unique and intuitive combination of Asian Bodywork and Western massage techniques.

Karen Gabler, LMT

Karen Gabler has been a Massage Therapist, Structural Integrator, Zero Balancer, and Alignment Specialist for over 30 years.  Karen synthesized her 30+ years of experience into Gabler Sustainable Body, a program that helps people create optimal alignment and fluid movement through their fascia.  Since most chronic pain comes from misaligned fascia, not muscles, Sustainable Body treats the fascia so that life without pain is possible.

Nina M. Ghareeb, Lic.Ac.

Nina M.Ghareeb, M.Ac., Lic. Ac. received her Masters degree in Acupuncture in 1997 and then traveled to China for postgraduate study. Since then she has maintained a practice in Cambridge and one in Reading, MA. She has additional training in Western herbs with Rosemary Gladstar. When not practicing acupuncture, Nina enjoys hiking with her husband and dogs, music, travel, cooking, yoga, capeoira, and all types of adventure.

Abi Harper, LMT

Abi Harper has been a licensed massage therapist focusing on client-tailored treatment since 2001. Abi's has trained in several techniques including Muscular Therapy, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Prenatal Massage and Zero Balancing and builds a unique and multi-faceted approach to every client. Abi also prioritizes a safe and relaxing environment and works intuitively and methodically to ensure a pace that supports deep embodied integration. She has a special interest in stress reduction and orthopedic injuries, including Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, TMJ Disfunction and sciatica. Abi enjoys helping clients learn to be present and comfortable in their bodies and welcomes clients of all sizes, genders, races and sexual orientations.

Teresa Harten, LMT

Teresa Harten is a licensed massage therapist serving the Cambridge community for over 15 years. Teresa works with a wide range of clients including dancers, professionals, pregnant women, students, and seniors. Teresa's hands-on therapy is based on the Ben Benjamin system of Muscular Therapy and informed by further study in Myofascial Release and Craniosacral therapy. Her work helps clients manage stress, improve mobility, or eliminate pain. When appropriate, Teresa also integrates gentle range of motion and breathing exercerses, and teaches simple self-care techniques for clients to use at home. In addition to her Cambridge Health Associates private practice, Teresa also offers massage therapy in a corporate setting.

Kathy Hermann, LMT

Kathy became a licensed massage therapist in 2005 and founded Equilibrium Massage Therapy, a private practice treating both people and horses.  Prior to that, she had a 20-year marketing career in the high-tech industry. An avid horsewoman, she discovered the power of massage while rehabilitating an injured horse. That life-changing moment during an equine massage workshop inspired her to train as a massage therapist.  She has worked in spas and other wellness practices, and provided sports massage at the Boston Marathon.  In addition, she continually pursues her interests in massage through continuing education courses.

Katie Keane, LMT, CZB

After Katie was introduced to Iyengar yoga, her experiences of deep relaxation and improved health with yoga practice led to an exploration of  hands-on body therapies including therapeutic massage, Zero Balancing, myofascial, structural and visceral Bodywork, hydrotherapy and Taoist movement/meditation arts. Katie offers hands-on bodywork, as well as private sessions and classes in Taoist yoga, breathing and qigong.

Jessica Kern has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2005.  Certified in both Neuromuscular Therapy and Zero balancing, Jessica has the scope to address complex and long-standing pain patterns and a unique ability to pay quality attention to her client’s specific needs. She is a dedicated somatic educator, empowering her clients to find and maintain stability and ease of movement in their bodies. She specializes in tailoring treatment plans to facilitate recovery from injury.

Eliza Mallouk, LMT

Eliza Mallouk has been a massage therapist and movement educator for over 35 years. She is also a founding member of Cambridge Health Associates (1988). Over the years, she has expanded her knowledge of healing by studying many different modalities including: Craniosacral Therapy, Reiki, Self-Regulation Therapy, the Stough Method of Breathing Coordination,  Activated Isolated Stretching and “The Actor’s Secret.”

Daphne Mitcheson

Daphne practices Rolfing as a means to understanding not only pain, suffering and the nature of healing, but also joy, vitality and the nature of health. She regularly supplements her training with courses in advanced Rolfing and osteopathic techniques including: craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation and neural mobilization.

I fell in love with Oriental Medicine because its principles are based upon the understanding that our mental, emotional and physical health are intertwined and offers a holistic methodology to wellness – a type of Body-Mind Therapy. With this in mind, I use an integrative approach when navigating life’s adversities and challenges. In addition to my personal experiences and educational background, I bring more than 20 years of professional experience as a human services professional working with vulnerable populations.

Kate Rivera, LMT

Kate Rivera is an integrative bodyworker, somatics educator and co-active life-coach in private practice since 1975. Kate began her practice by offering massage therapy, stress-management and sensory awareness training. Over the years, Kate continued to evolve as a practitioner, studying, teaching and training other types of therapy and bodywork in the U.S. and abroad. She has since expanded her practice, offering Facial Rejuvenation and Co-Active Coaching in addition to Massage and Integrative Bodywork.

Elizabeth Valentine, LMT

Elizabeth Valentine is a licensed, certified massage therapist, movement educator and leadership embodiment coach in private practice since 1980.  Equipped with a deep understanding of human anatomy, Elizabeth helps clients move freely, think clearly and most importantly, to shift in ways that are sustainable. She has a special interest in leadership development and helping clients who feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Elizabeth's process is highly individualized, creative and designed to effect deep and lasting change in chronic physical and emotional patterns.

I am an experienced, licensed clinician, and faculty member of the C.G. Jung Institute of Boston. I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, emotional and sexual trauma, and relationship issues. My approach is to listen carefully to your concerns, support areas of strength and resilience while discovering new inner resources and understandings that are often transformative. Patients and couples find me to be caring, non-judgmental, and pragmatic. I value the relief of suffering while working together to shift longer-term impediments to your quality of life and successful living.

Tracy Walton, LMT

Tracy Walton is a massage therapist specializing in cancer care. She has been in private practice at Cambridge Health Associates for over 20 years. A researcher and educator, Tracy is the author of the textbook, Medical Conditions and Massage Therapy: A Decision Tree Approach. She also appears in the film "Touch, Caring, and Cancer: an inspiring home instruction program for people with cancer and their care partners."

Laura West

Laura West is a certified Reiki Master Teacher in the Western Reiki lineage and an accredited Jikiden Reiki Shoden / Okuden practitioner, in training to become a Shihan Kaku. She is a trained herbalist and a licensed educator. She is also an intuitive, medium and channel for the Divine, since birth. Laura offers a variety of private sessions, teaches classes and provides mentoring.

Mary Elizabeth Wheeler

Mary Elizabeth Wheeler has guided clients in the Authentic VoiceWork process for over 25 years. Using the process of self-generated sound, Mary Elizabeth helps people access the embodied voice for self-expression, creativity, healing and transformation. An improvisational vocal performance artist, song leader and voice coach, she is the co-creator of the SpiritSong® Process and "Mystic Soul" album. Mary Elizabeth is also the founder and director of Indigo River, an organization dedicated to bringing the authentic voice to life. She teaches Authentic VoiceWork locally and nationally to individuals, couples and groups.

Cynthia Wood

Cynthia Wood is registered Instructor and Advanced Practitioner of Ortho-Bionomy.  She has studied with Dr. Pauls, the creator of the work.  She was founder and director of the New England Center for Ortho-Bionomy.  Also, a graduate of the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Cynthia has been in practice since 1989.  In addition to her private practice, Cynthia has worked in settings as varied as a physical therapy clinic, spas, hospitals, athletic events and the Kovler Center for Survivors of Political Torture.  Cynthia has a full practice where she works with a wide variety of issues ranging from scoliosis, MS, back pain and TMJ disfunction to improved athletic performance and trauma resolution.
